Dr. Natasha Brown, an award-winning educator, currently serves as our Principal here at Westover Middle School. She's Cumberland County's 2020 Assistant Principal of the Year. She has been committed to Cumberland County Schools for 16 years, serving as a Middle School English-Language Arts teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master's in Middle Grades Education, both from Fayetteville State University, and an Educational Specialist and Doctor of Education degree from Liberty University. With a passion for education, Dr. Brown is committed to ensuring every student has the opportunity to engage in a quality educational experience and that teachers are on a continuous path of growth and development. Dr. Brown believes that relationship building is a priority. She was a 2020 presenter at the National Youth At-Risk Conference, sharing knowledge and expertise based on her published research, "Building positive relationships with at-risk students in Title I Middle Schools."
